Salt and butter are my two favorite desserts.
I love to add salt to a chocolate cake and make it sweet and rich.
The salty caramel is one of my favorite desserts because of how versatile it is.
You can use it to decorate cakes, decorate a candy bar, or to make the perfect cookie dough.
Here’s how you can make the salty coconut butter and caramel sauce, the perfect pair for summer.
Make the salty Coconut Butter & Salted Caramel Sauce 2 cups sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla 1 cup salted coconut 1 cup unsalted butter, melted and cooled 2 cups sour cream 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder (or 1/4 cup powdered sugar) 2 tablespoons coconut oil (or olive oil) To make the caramel sauce: In a large saucepan, combine sugar, vanilla, and salt.
Bring to a boil over medium heat.
Add coconut oil and stir to coat.
Reduce heat to low and simmer, covered, for about 10 minutes, or until the mixture thickens.
For the coconut butter & salted caramel sauce 2 cups coconut milk 1 teaspoon coconut sugar 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract 1 teaspoon salt 2 tablespoons unsalted coconut oil Serve over fresh or frozen coconut cream or vanilla ice cream.
