A former Muppeteer and a vocal critic of “Star Wars: The Last Ship,” The Last City and “The Muppet Show,” Michael Egan says the Disney Channel series is the best show ever.
The first season of “The Last City” was the first to feature the first-ever “muppet” to be a human, which was played by a man in his mid-70s named Eddie Fisher.
Egan was in a conversation with “The Daily Show” host Jon Stewart when he was asked what he thinks about the show’s recent popularity.
He answered, “I don’t know, it’s just, it has so many fans.
I’m not even sure if that’s a fair statement, but I think that’s what it’s all about.”
Egan, who directed the first three episodes of “Last City,” says it is “an awesome show” and that the characters have “a lot of depth and depth of character.”
But he also says, “The show doesn’t always make me laugh, and sometimes it makes me cry.”
“Last Ship” stars Muppet Tony Shalhoub and actress Olivia Colman, who also voices a female character named Tasha.
The show premiered in 2008, and Egan’s career began in 2002 with the television version of “Sister Wives.”
He also directed the second season of the Muppet show “Fables” and starred in the first two episodes of the film “Racing Bull.”
