A top ten list of the world, which are the top ten most salted, most salmon-based and most caramel-based whiskeys.
The list was compiled by Whisky Advocate, which uses data from global market research firm Nielsen.
The list of top ten whiskeys is based on the amount of salt and temperature that is added to each bottle of whiskey, and the number of grams of salt, according to Nielsen.
The top ten are: Almond Sherry, Sazerac, Sierra Nevada, Maraschino, Marlborough, Malbec, Bordeaux, Cointreau, Glenfiddich, Cognac, and Barbour.
